The Philosophy and principle of Inclusive Growth

This book begins with Karl Marx and Max Weber as its starting point, selecting China and Japan as representative economies of Confucian civilization, the United States as a representative of Western civilization, Saudi Arabia as a representative of Islamic civilization, and India as a symbol of emerging economic development. It systematically examines the process of modernization from five perspectives: culture, economic growth, taxation systems, monetary frameworks, and corporate governance, attempting to answer the diversification of inclusive growth.

DPIL

A divergence between CPI and prices of housing in China since 2010 has been spotted, a phenomenon similar to what happened in Japan in 1980s. We construct a dynamic price index with labor income (DPIL) to represent the money’s purchasing power. Furthermore, our examination of the correlations between DPIL and unemployment rate reveals that a consistent positive correlation exists in six countries in the past decades, a finding that provides a new Phillips curve analytical framework for monetary policy.
